ALAC Subcommittee on Finance and Budget Workspace

Description

The ALAC Operations, Finance and Budget Sub-committee (OFB-SC) is tasked with preparing statements and requests related to ICANN finance and budget, strategy, and operations, including the Multi-stakeholder Model and organizational reviews. 

The tasks of the OFB-SC include, but are not limited to:

• Coordination of annual additional budget requests from the ALAC and RALOs, to go into the yearly ICANN budget
• Drafting any statement related to the ICANN budget process
• Drafting any statement regarding ICANN operating plan
• Drafting any statement related to the ICANN strategic process, including:
  • the Multistakeholder Model
  • Organizational reviews
• Issues involving the Constituency Travel budget

The OFB-SC is a geographically diverse group, which requires at least one Member from the ALAC representing a Regional At-Large Organisation (RALO), and at least two At-Large Members from each RALO.

All OFB-SC calls are open to Observers, but membership of the sub-committee is closed. Only RALOs may nominate members to the OFB-SC , upon request of the Chair of the OFB-SC .
