ON 1 November 2007 at the Annual General Meeting, the ICANN Board approved the New GTLDs Policy agreed by the GNSO. This means that it is now up to the staff of ICANN to propose, for public comment and review, the practical implementation of the process by which new GTLDs will be added to the root zone.
As a result of this, the At-Large Advisory Committee created a new working group to follow developments. All interested participants in the At-Large community are encouraged to join!
