About the Outreach and Engagement SC
The ALAC Subcommittee on Outreach and Engagement (O&E) develops strategies
- to reach out to new potential members of the At-Large Community (Outreach) and
- to engage new and existing members of the At-Large Community (Engagement)
to continue to fulfill At-Large and ALAC’s role in ICANN activities. This Subcommittee works with the At-Large Community to ensure such strategies are implemented successfully.

| Follow up on updated Outreach and Engagement Strategies for each RALO for FY18 | O&E co-chairs | As per the requirements since the Community Regional Outreach Pilot Program (CROPP)-FY16 program, the proposed CROP FY18 requires an updated Outreach Strategic Plan for each RALO.Such Outreach and Engagement Strategies will require approval by RALOs and by the regional Global Stakeholder Engagement (GSE) before any CROP proposals for FY18 can be filed. See At-Large RALO Outreach Plans for FY18 page for links to these outreach strategies for FY18. As of July 24 2017, APRALO, LACRALO and NARALO have approved plans in place. |
| At-Large Community Onboarding - The Community Onboarding Pilot Program is a collaboration between ICANN Organization and ICANN’s Community to more effectively integrate new community members into their volunteer role. The program aims to create a structured, year-round (not meeting focused) onboarding process tailored by and for each community group. The program consists of three main pillars:

- COMPLETE Reconstitution of this subcommittee given the change of this committee from Outreach only to the Outreach and Engagement Subcommittee by asking RALOs whose members are interested in outreach and engagement activities for their RALO to be in this SC to better coordinate and collaborate with all of At-Large on Outreach and Engagement.
- COMPLETE Develop Outreach and Engagement Strategies for each RALO as per the requirements of the Community Regional Outreach Pilot Program (CROPP)-FY16 is the development on a Outreach Strategic Plan for each RALO -

Such Outreach and Engagement Strategies will require approval by the regional Global Stakeholder Engagement (GSE) before any CROPP proposals can be filed. - COMPLETE Investigate how a calendar (or calendars) can be used by this SC working with the Global Stakeholder Engagement (GSE) to track possible Outreach events in our 5 regions. We have a Outreach Events Calendar but it is not well known and its not clear if one calendar is suitable for use .
COMPLETE Select a member from this Outreach and Engagement SC to serve on the At-Large Community Regional Outreach Pilot Program Review Team CROPP RT for FY16 (from July 2015 to June 2016) .
