3. Sub-Committee on Plan for Tools Familiarisation (Julie, Louis, Yrjö)
a. There are a number of issues that the Sub-Committee wishes to discuss and finalise with the BCEC:
- Confirm our terminology for the 2 stages of assessment: Initial Evaluation, Detailed Evaluation (as per our Operational Procedures and Guidelines)
- Scoring Scheme for Initial Evaluation
- Definitions for Initial Evaluation (see proposed definitions on the Candidate Polling page of the BCEC Wiki)
- Threshold score to progress to Shortlist and Detailed Evaluation
- Scoring Scheme for Detailed Evaluation
b. Trial of Initial Evaluation Tools:
- 5 "sample" EoIs planned to be completed by 2359 UTC Sunday 23 October 2016 (hopefully)
- Perform trial candidate evaluations using "sample" EoIs by 2100 UTC Wednesday 26 October 2016
- Discuss results at next meeting on Thursday 27 October 2016
- Provide feedback on use of web tools
4. Sub-Committee on Plan for Candidate Evaluation (Julie, Jordi, Vanda)
This Sub-Committee has not yet commenced its work. However, to assist in planning it would be useful to agree what date the Committee must complete its deliberations in order to allow the ALAC to publish the Final Slate of Candidates on Thursday 22 December 2016.
