GNSO IGO-INGO Access to Curative Rights Protections Mechanisms PDP Working Group

This Working Group was chartered by the GNSO Council in June 2014 to consider whether modifications to the existing Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy and Uniform Rapid Suspension procedure - two mechanisms designed to prevent cyber squatting and protect the rights of trademark holders - need to be made in order to address the special needs of International Governmental Organizations and International Non-Governmental Organizations. At this open community session, the Working Group will review preliminary advice from its external legal expert on the issue of IGO immunity, and consider next steps.
