Avri Doria:well if even the short part up front was translated, that might help, but i have heard NOTHING about translation.
Avri Doria:It is not all that coherent yet. maybe we will work miracles in the next few days.
Alan Greenberg:@Avri, it HAS been the proactice to translate Exec Summaries. I certainly they are doing the comparable thing here which is as you suggest.
Jean-Jacques Subrenat:Olivier, the general policy for Language Services in ICANN is to provide translation (and interpretation when available) in the 5 UN languagues (+ Portugese in some cases).
Heidi Ullrich:@Alan, for clarity, I believe 'interpretation' is being discussed - rather than 'translation', correct?
Alan Greenberg:@Heidi, yes, BUT, I think that a webinar in (for instance) Arabic is not particularly useful if the draft proposal is only in English. We do not know whether it will be or not.
