ISOC-Benin was established following the general assembly of 06 and 13 March 1999. Il a pour but : It aims to: de promouvoir l'utilisation d'Internet au Bénin en mettant en valeur les expériences acquises, en offrant un premier niveau d'information et en favorisant les contacts des membres entre eux et avec les membres de l' Internet Society to promote Internet use in Benin highlighting the experiences, offering a first level of information and encouraging contacts between members and with members of the Internet Society
d'encourager une participation du Bénin aux travaux de l'ISOC ; encourage participation of Benin in the work of ISOC;
de favoriser une participation à tous types de projets coopératifs, béninois ou internationaux, de nature privée ou publique ; promote participation in all types of cooperative projects, Benin or international, private or public;
de favoriser la coopération avec les autres Chapitres de l'ISOC ; foster cooperation with other chapters of ISOC;
de faire connaître les positions du Chapitre et de l'ISOC auprès de toutes personnes physiques ou morales intéressées par Internet ; to know the positions of the ISOC Chapter and to all persons or entities interested in the Internet;
de susciter, préparer et participer à toutes réunions et conférences, groupes de travail et commissions, formels ou informels, ainsi que tout ouvrage et publication, utilisant ou non les moyens électroniques, notamment Internet, conformes à son objet social. generate, prepare and participate in all meetings and conferences, working groups and committees, formal or informal, and any book and publishing, using or not using electronic means, including Internet, according to its purpose.
