My company registered a number of generic domain names (eg. bar.com, grill.com, pub.com, place.com, corp.com, shelter.com, cafes.com) in 1994 and 1995 and thus I have a business-owner and domain-registrant's interests in ICANN activities in addition to my primary interest as a representative of an Internet Service Provider. Additionally, several of those generic domain names (corp.com, bar.com, pub.com and place.com) are now exact matches to strings that have been applied for in the new gTLD process. I do not believe these interests are material.
