Cross-Community Collaboration to Deliver the New gTLD Program Next Round that We All Want

    • JZ/Amrita to work on invitations to the SOACs
    • 5 regionally break out sessions to take place within the ALAC room flip charts + 1 online break out group.
    • Need champions 
    • Invite Sally C to open the session.  Amrita' comment - While it was suggested to invite Sally for the opening, however since she is already speaking to RALO Chairs and ALAC LT, having other relevant ICANN staff to share their views makes sense.
    • GSE staff to be invited as speakers and part of the break out sessions.
    • Amrita happy to have an organizing call with GSE     Amrita's Update  - had initial call with Chris Mondini.  It was discussed that having a briefing call in Oct with GSE would help. GSE will also be happy to encourage ICANN community members to join the session.
    • Prep call to be held once all speakers are confirmed. 

At-Large Community Priorities for Fiscal Years 2026–2030

      • Session should be interactive. 
      • Staff to invite Maarten Botterman and Chris Chapman
      • JZ to open
      • Break out rooms - 5 on-site and 1 online
      • Need a polling director
      • JZ to summarize the session 
      • The Planning Team to be invited as observers.
      • Promotion - Staff to invite Maartin and Chris, etc. 
      • Prep call to be held once all speakers are confirmed. 
      • Amrita Choudhury and Claire Craig to collaborate on the homework to be provided to interested participants. 
      • Claire Craig and the Small Team to be included in the session given their knowledge of the Strategy Plan. 
      • Amrita Choudhury , Claire Craig and Jonathan Zuck to discuss how to prepare people for this sesison (webinar?)
  • Jonathan Zuck / Gisella Gruber to plan a two At-Large webinar with interpretation: 1) Overview - What to expect and how to prepare for ICANN81; 2) A deep dive into the topics being discussed during ICANN81. Might follow up with a video consisting of the webinar (for use during RALO calls) These are to be scheduled prior to Prep Week. 
  • RALO Chairs to raise the At-Large activities at ICANN81 during their monthly calls. 
  •  Jonathan Zuck , Gisella Gruber , Yesim Nazlar to work on a polling tool for all sessions in case there is a wish to use them (most likely for the plenaries). 
  • Jonathan Zuck to prepare prep materials. 
  • Michelle Desmyter to schedule the next At-Large ICANN81 Prep call on Wednesday, 4 September.

  • Pari and Joanna to merge their proposals and submit a revised proposal within 48h to submit to the SOAC list by 30 July (deadline extension)
  • Gisella Gruber to share At-Large Plenary Session submission Google form on ICANN81 PC list
  • Heidi Ullrich Silvia Vivanco : At-Large Plenary Session submission Google form to be shared with CPWG & OFB (deadline for submissions 16 August 2024)

  • Pari to submit session proposal before deadline of 19 July 2024 (deadline extension to 30 July 2024)
  • Staff to post both proposals on the ICANN81 PC workspace
  • Staff to set up the Google form for At-Large plenary session submission
  • Staff to set up the At-Large ICANN81 Google schedule 
  • Staff to schedule next call on Wednesday 24 July 2024 at 13:00 UTC
