Welcome! This wiki has been set up as a collaborative space for the ICANN Community and Staff to engage in discussion on improvements to the overall budgeting process. This initiative was born out of the community work session in Prague, where it was determined that 3 separate Ad Hoc groups should be set up as follows for this work:

  • Budget Process: Strategic Planning
  • Budget Process: Documents Structure and Content
  • Budget Process: Community Timeline

The goal of these groups is to come together in Toronto to update the community on potential improvements to each of these areas of focus, based on conference call discussions as well as interaction on this wiki.

Some improvements may be feasible for implementation in FY14, others may need more collaboration with either these groups or other initiatives such as Strategic Plan development.

In each of the "child pages" below, you will have the opportunity to view notes, reference documents and draft proposals on improvements for each of the three (3) areas. We encourage you to comment, provide additional input, and upload documents that you think may be helpful to the discussions.

This homepage will provide information such as doodle polls for upcoming work sessions which anyone can join, current meetings that have been calendared, and overall reference information that applies to all of the 3 Ad Hoc groups.
