Resumen de la sesión 

La Aceptación Universal es el principio de aceptar, validar, almacenar, procesar y mostrar nombres de dominio y direcciones de correo electrónico de manera correcta y consistente en todos los dispositivos, sistemas y aplicaciones en todo el mundo. Este es un requisito fundamental para una Internet totalmente multilingüe, en la que los usuarios de todo el mundo puedan navegar por las redes completamente en su idioma local.

Los panelistas de esta sesión discutirán la importancia de la Aceptación Universal y los IDN en la región de América Latina y el Caribe y cómo ese concepto se está implementando o puede implementarse de manera efectiva en varias jurisdicciones

Overview of the session 

Universal Acceptance is the principle of accepting, validating, storing, processing, and displaying domain names and email addresses correctly and consistently across all devices, systems, and applications around the world. This is a fundamental requirement for a fully multilingual Internet, in which users around the world can navigate the networks entirely in their local language.

The panelists for this session will discuss the importance of Universal Acceptance and IDNs in the Latin America and Caribbean region and how that concept is being, or can be, effectively implemented in various jurisdictions.
