Omar Kaminski: hello Alice, nice to meet you virtually.
Alice Jansen: Hello Omar - Very nice to meet you too :-)
Alice Jansen: I can't help but notice that you are familiar with Adobe rooms. That is good news as we intend to use it as a discussion tool
Omar Kaminski: Great, I was installing the add on
Omar Kaminski: since I'm using this tool, probably I won't need a telephone (?)
Alice Jansen: Great initiative - thanks so much! and welcome to the WHOIS RT :-)
Alice Jansen: you will need a telephone line to listen in and interact with Review Team Members
Omar Kaminski: a mic is not enough?
Alice Jansen: you may dial in through Skype or I can arrange for a dial-out if you wish me to do so?
Omar Kaminski: yes, please. My number is xxxxxxxxx
Omar Kaminski: we still have 10 minutes :)
Alice Jansen: Okay, I have asked the operator to call you
Omar Kaminski: thank you!
Omar Kaminski: just one more question: what the password is for?
Alice Jansen: you will not need the password
Wilfried Woeber: Hi Alice, others, good afternoon (or whatever it si in your timezone) :-)
Alice Jansen: Hello Wilfried! Welcome to the WHOIS Review Team
Wilfried Woeber: Looks like I made it in time, just about to dial in on the POTS
Emily Taylor: Hi there - Emily here. I'm new to this. Do you use it in conjunction with the phone>
Alice Jansen: Hi Emily - yes, please dial-in :)
Kim von Arx: Hi Emily... good to have you on this
Emily Taylor: Thanks Kim.
Wilfried Woeber: I was told (by the op) that my line was a source of noise, so I went on mute, just fyi
Alice Jansen: Thank you Wilfried -
Wilfried Woeber: btw, the idea of accountability for activity on the 'net should also apply to e.g. Law Enforcement...
Wilfried Woeber: very good point regarding non-latin scripts
Omar Kaminski: Privacy issue (and experience): in Brazil to register a domain name you need to put your CNPJ (enterprises) or CPF (individuals). It's the number of registration for tributary purposes, like a kind of social security number. It's a solution here, but how to make something global? Digital certification for example?
Wilfried Woeber: ACK
Wilfried Woeber: tnx, ''see you''!
Omar Kaminski: thanks, bye!
