Thank for the discussion on the Domain Transfer Policy.
I gather that many registrars automatically "lock" the domain to protect it against potential "unauthorized" transfers. The registrant may or may not
have the permission to the change the "lock status". The "Lock Status" must also be propagated to the other registrars.
How long does it take for other registrars to see that it is indeed unlocked?
Also, I understand that roughly the Domain Transfer can take upto 7 - 10 Days.
I wish all this happens faster.

Bill JourisHistorically, the script that is known as "Latin" in Unicode and most contexts associated with information technology standards is known in the linguistic community as "Roman" or "Roman-derived". I suppose the gap between "Latin Language" will persist. This is true for many scripts that are based only the sub-set of the language. The language will have better anticipated impact than the script for IT. Thanks for your observation today - 29 Sept during the CPWG.
