At the GNSO-TRP meeting on Aug 31 a set of notifications to the registrant was discussed. The notifications can be divided into 1) Notifications to the registrant in preperation for a domain name transfer, and 2) Notification from the Losing Registrar that the transfer has been completed (i.e. moved to the gaining Registrar).
Page #6 and onward on the Losing FOA document include elements to be included in the "pre-transfer notification".
I would like input from the CPWG if there are elements in the notifications to be added (other than the ones listed).
IMO, the discussed notifications can replace the Loosing FOA since it inclued the same information in addition to new information to be given (example Information about to whom and how the TAC was given).
