ALAC Subcommittee on Finance and Budget Workspace
Description
The ALAC Operations, Finance and Budget Sub-committee (OFB-SC) is tasked with preparing statements and requests related to ICANN finance and budget, strategy, and operational issues, including the Multi-stakeholder Model and organizational reviews.
The tasks of the OFB-SC include, but are not limited to:
- Coordination of annual additional budget requests from the ALAC and RALOs, to go into the yearly ICANN budget
- Drafting any statement related to the ICANN budget process
- Drafting any statement regarding ICANN's operational initiatives
- Drafting any statement related to the ICANN strategic plan and processes
The OFB-SC is a geographically diverse group that is comprised of members and participants.
Members have been selected by the RALOS and consist of one ALAC member and one community member from each of the five RALOs. These RALO representatives are the voters on any financial matters. for example, Additional Budget Requests (ABRs).
