Amrita has the experience and understanding of the issues of not only the APAC region, but also of most emerging nations, owing to her involvement at the grassroots level on topics of Access, digital literacy, multilingual internet, inclusion of unrepresented communities, women and youth, which she articulates effectively at global forums.

An active member and contributor at national, regional and global IG platforms, she has been contributing to national, regional and global IG platforms as MSG AprIGF; At Large ALS and ICANN Fellow and Coach; BPF Women at IGF. She is one of the Founders of the India School of Internet Governance (inSIG); actively involved with IG communities of the region.

She is demonstrating her leadership skills as President, ISOC Delhi Chapter, Lead APAC for Women Special Interest group and ChAC-SC at ISOC, Steering committee member inSIG, Director CCAOI. She is advising and guiding youth initiatives - of the Youth IGF in India.

Her involvement as Beyond the Net Selection Committee member, APSIG 2017 selection commitee, BPF Women, Lead Sub theme Diversity and Inclusion AprIGF Synthesis Document 2018 drafting committee, has rendered Amrita the necessary skills for evaluation while balancing diversity and inclusion, decision making through rough consensus - skills necessary for any IG practitioner involved in decision making.

Her excellent networking and communication skills, are qualities important for NomCom. She has been managing the inSIG Secretariat; created the CCAOI platform to provide a voice for 150000 small entrepreneurs providing assisted Internet service; as APSIG Alumni, coordinated All SIG2017 meeting; organized successful capacity building sessions to encourage engagement across South Asia and curator of the APRALO monthly newsletter and the CCAOI Monthly newsletter which is the only monthly IG newsletter sharing the sub regional perspective. Besides, she is a Curator for Diplo Foundation.
