Tasks for the At-Large Review Working Party:

  • To provide input on the selection criteria of independent examiners (e.g. examiners should have knowledge and understanding how the At-Large community operates)
  • To review what has been done in the previous ALAC Review and add comments: https://community.icann.org/x/_580Aw. Aim to complete this AI by April 2016
  • To review the GNSO review and lessons learned
  • To assist the Strategic Initiative Dept in the development of FAQ for the At-Large Review. It will be posted on the wiki. The FAQ should be similar to the GNSO Review FAQ: https://community.icann.org/x/zbXhAg. Aim to produce the FAQ by March 2016
  • To identify the key individuals for the independent examiners to interview. Aim to complete this AI by April 2016 before Independent Examiners start their work, but it is not a must as new people can be added later on
  • To discuss the aforementioned tasks in ICANN 53 Dublin

Task for Gisella:

Task for Holly and Larisa:

  • Holly Raiche and Larisa Gurnick to reach out to Jen Wolfe, GNSO Review Working Party Chair, in Dublin to talk about lessons learned in GNSO Review

Notes

Clarification of timelines:

From now until April:  Larisa/Charla/staff completing the processes for selection of the Independent Examiner (finalise RFP, selection processes)

From now until April: Tasks for the Working Party:

- provide input to Larisa/Charla for selection criteria for Independent Examiner

- review outcomes from the earlier ALAC Review (status of recommendations, did the review/recommendations work as intended) This is what is meant by self-assessment on the timeline

- review final report of GNSO report for lessons learned about Reviews

- begin work on FAQs - initial FAQs should be completed before start of the actual review in April

- meet in Dublin - focus on input for selection criteria for independent Examiner (scope of work and criteria)

- hold WP meetings (teleconferences) to address other items listed for completion by April
