Marika KoningsFollowing discussions in Singapore, the GNSO Council agreed to form a small committee to liaise with the SIC on the GNSO Review and discuss a potential self-review of the GNSO Council. A webinar on the the upcoming Review of the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO) has been scheduled for 7 May. This briefing will provide the GNSO community with information about the GNSO review process, collect feedback from the community and answer questions concerning this process.

  • Thomas Rickert will reach out to the original working group members and Councilors to find out more about the original discussions that led to the policy recommendations that were adopted.  
  • Prepare a motion to be voted on which needs to be submitted to the Council by 28 April for consideration at the 8 May 2014 meeting.
