    <string>WORK</string>
<string>I am an intellectual property and Internet law attorney, advising on copyright and trademark enforcement, intermediary liability, advertising, social and mobile media, e-commerce and domain names for global leaders in media, financial services, consumer products, Internet and technology industries.

I have significant experience counseling clients on Internet governance matters and a wealth of knowledge about the domain name industry, including management of global domain name portfolios, recovery of domain names from cybersquatters worldwide, and the development and execution of new generic Top-Level Domain (gTLD) objection, acquisition and management strategies. My work routinely focuses on cutting-edge advances in new Internet media and developments within the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).

I also have significant experience advising clients on trademark selection, clearance, prosecution, registration and enforcement, having worked on arbitration and federal court litigation involving trademark infringement, trademark dilution, unfair competition and cybersquatting.</string>

    <string>INTERESTEXPLAIN</string>
<string>In our practice, we represent both registries and registrars in trademark portfolio matters, although I have not represented these organizations in ICANN policy matters. From time to time, we advise clients on ICANN policy matters relating to brand protection, and have assisted clients with preparing comments to ICANN. In addition, we are currently advising several clients on their new gTLD registry contractual obligations. It is possible that other members of the firm may hold additional such interests.</string>
