For this session, we will continue the community-led discussion on facilitating APAC participation in ICANN’s policymaking process through the New gTLD Subsequent Procedures Policy Development Process (PDP). We are therefore pleased to have the Co-Group Leads, Christa Taylor and Sara Bockey from Work Track 1 of the abovementioned PDP, join us in Hyderabad to introduce their work.

We continue to dive into this topic further to the previous APAC Space Web Conference discussion (See: https://community.icann.org/display/GSEAPAC/APAC+Space).

Working Group Co-Chair, Ms. Avri Doria, gave an update on the status of and community inputs to the PDP, as well as shared her thoughts about community participation in the Working Group. This was a good opportunity for our community to interact with her and address any questions we may have regarding how we can increase our participation in ICANN policy work.
