I cannot ever play/download the audio files. It just stalls in loading stage so I'm not sure if I have a codec problem or not!

Hi, Carlton. The download does work for me, so I think it is a codec problem.
I suggest uninstalling Quicktime (which is typically a codec that is a default MP3 player) and restart.

Then try to download the file. If your browser offers to save the file, then this was the problem.

You can re-download Quicktime at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
but you can use any music player including VideoLAN (http://www.videolan.org/)
