Neben wissenschaftlichen Studien und kulturellen Projekten hat der Medienstadt Leipzig eV seit Anfang der 90er Jahre insbesondere durch die Organisation von Veranstaltungen das öffentliche Leben in Leipzig mitgeprägt.
