Presentation
Bokk Jang is a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) that aims at economic and social development of Senegal and the whole of Africa by the New Technologies of Information and Communication (NTIC).
Bokk or Jang 2B1-SN, is an NGO whose intervention in disadvantaged local communities and is based on volunteerism to achieving the ideals of solidarity and sharing of knowledge: know-how and life skills for the benefit of Children, youth and women, victims of school dropouts and this apart from all sectarian considerations and / or policies.
Motivations
The analysis of socio-educational national and global impact of New Technologies of Information and Communication (NTIC) on socio-economic world of the twenty-first century has highlighted the need and urgency to create Centers of Excellence for Research, Education and Vocational Training (CERFP) incorporating ICT as main instruments of learning.
The project is justified by the state of anxiety aroused by school dropouts and the low level of education of women and girls despite the significant progress observed here and there in the education sector.
