Some time has passed since the original call for volunteers, and the GNSO is now asking the SSC to ensure that the GNSO has a full slate of candidates to put forward. At least two of the original primary candidates and at least one of the additional candidates will need to be replaced. The SSC may also choose to re-evaluate the full slate of additional candidates in light of new applications to ensure balance of skills and experience in the pool of candidates. The additional candidates may be selected by SO/AC leaders if there are remaining slots to be filled and/or to ensure diversity.
Note: For this selection process, Wolf-Ulrich Knoben will serve as an alternate for Osvaldo Novoa. Maxim Alzoba will serve as an alternate for Erica Varlese.
