Background:
This PDP was initiated to review all the rights protection mechanisms (RPMs) that have been developed to date for the protection of trademark owners in all gTLDs. The PDP is being conducted in two phases: Phase 1 focuses on all the RPMs that were developed for the 2012 New gTLD Program round, and Phase 2 on the longstanding Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy. This session is a three-hour intensive face-to-face meeting for the Working Group, to which all observers are welcome.
