Question. If there is only one community-based application in a contention set with other standard applications, would the community-based application still need to go through community priority evaluation to get priority in the contention set?

Answer. The community-based application does not automatically receive priority in a contention set if it is the only community-based application in that contention set. If the community-based application would like to receive priority in the contention set, it must elect community priority evaluation and score 14 or higher in the evaluation.

Question. If a community-based application scores less than the required 14 points during community priority evaluation, does it move forward in the contention set as a standard application?

Answer. If the threshold of 14 points for community priority evaluation is not met, the community-based application will not be given priority in the contention set. However, the application remains a community-based application and is bound by all community-designation restrictions.
