  Frank Michlick:erm

  Frank Michlick:Hello

  Holly Raiche:Great music!

  steve metalitz:Round Midnight

  Holly Raiche:Febulous number!

Don Blumenthal:I'm jealous about the music. Adobe doesn't have it.

Kathy:I think they should change the music to Rock

Frank Michlick:Yep, we want music here too ;-)

Bladel:Waiting on the Operator.  Did they cut staff over there or something?

  Susan Prosser:i agree Kathy

Holly Raiche:No Kathy - not with that jazz

Chris Pelling:some status quo would be nice

Chris Pelling:crumbs 4 mins and still on this music

  Don Blumenthal:Holly, agreed

  Kathy::-) Holly

Tim Ruiz:Anyone getting in on the phone?

  Chris Pelling:hoora

Don Blumenthal:Chris, is that a yes to Tim?

Kathy:@Tim -- not me, stil waiting

  Val Sherman:@Tim -- on hold

  Bladel:finally.

  Chris Pelling:just got in

  Chris Pelling:to Don that was

  Holly Raiche:Agreed on the jazz

  Tim Ruiz:Got in!

Terri Agnew:Todd Williams and David Heasley has joined

Holly Raiche:So have you seen Miles live- FAB

  Terri Agnew:Griffin Barnett has joined

  Kathy:I'm in now too...

  Terri Agnew:Jim Bikoff has joined

Mary Wong:@Michele, yes that is correct.

  Bladel:I wasn't aware it was optional. :)

Bladel:That's why I'm so annoying in IRTP.

Graeme Bunton:My job title was updated in my SOI, no other changes

  Mary Wong:Thanks, Graeme.

  Terri Agnew:Phil Marano has joined

Don Blumenthal:It's not optional. I have found it annoying so I didn't do it until being corrected

  Terri Agnew:David Cake has joined

  Terri Agnew:Jennifer Standiford has joined

Kathy:Sorry Don, my thought was that the follow-up work (now to do) is narrow and focused

Don Blumenthal:Thanks for the clarification. Lots of audio cut outs here.

  Kathy:Agree with James

Tim Ruiz:ICANN critical would be at a minimum anything required in the RAA and Consensus Policy, IMHO.

Tim Ruiz:I would also include anything that this WG deems critical regarding any of the areas we are covering.

  Tim Ruiz:Reveal for example.

  Kathy:Yikes, more work...

Bladel:Sure, but I think we would need more help. :)

Kathy:Seriously, I would be happy to

Bladel:Yes, same here.  Just need some fresh recruits.

Kathy:Agree - who can join us

Kristina Rosette:not just you.  happening to me too now.

  Bladel:Don is breaking up.

Bladel:No problems on the phone bridge, tho.

  Bladel:I can hear tim.

  Michele Neylon:yes

  Holly Raiche:yes

  Tim Ruiz:Could anyone hear me?

Terri Agnew:@Tim, yes but you were breaking up a bit

  Holly Raiche:Yes Kathy thks

  Holly Raiche:yes

  Susan Prosser:yes, Kathy

  Terri Agnew:Don is back

  Don Blumenthal:Maybe :)

Kathy: Great, we have James, Holly, Kathy --- who else?

  Kathy:on the subgroup...

Kathy:and adopt issues 1 and 3 for consideration in appropriate later sections, eg., relay

  Bladel:I don't heart them.

  Bladel:Maybe Don should dial in?

Bladel:Clearly this chat room is haunted!

Holly Raiche:One is tempted to comment about hearing voices

Chris Pelling:that 24 hour contact is only for abuse *

  Kathy:Tx for the clarification, Michele!

steve metalitz:@Michele, the issue is contactability, not necessarily response

Kathy:would it be possible to post the RAA sections?

Mary Wong:@Kathy for now they're summarized in the first para of the WG Response in Column 3 - I will find the link to the actual RAA.

Mary Wong:Link to 2013 RAA and Specs: https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/approved-with-specs-2013-09-17-en

  Kathy:Great, tx Mary!

Kathy:I like reading the full language iof RAA 2013 for 3.18 - it's pretty readable.

Terri Agnew:as a reminder, please mute whennot speaking

Terri Agnew:on telephone press *6 to mute or unmute

steve metalitz:Let's remember that accreditation standards need to apply to p/p services not affiliated with registrars -- as well as those affiliated -- so  registrar abuse contact may not be in a position to resolve.

  Terri Agnew:Tatiana Khramtsova has joined

  Michele Neylon:apparently "defamation" is illegal

  Michele Neylon:which is a problem

Luc Seufer:@Steve under the 2013 RAA registrars have to escrow the underlying data

Holly Raiche:@Michele - while it is 'against the law' it is a civiil ratherthan criminal matter

Luc Seufer:so they have to be aware of it

Holly Raiche:@ Michele - that's in the Australian jurisdiction

Kathy:Plus, the allegation of defamation is not the same as the proof of defamation.

Holly Raiche:@ Kathy - so true

Michele Neylon:Under Irish law unfortunately the allegation is practically the same as being found guilty

Michele Neylon:as it's nigh on impossible to defend against

Kathy:In the US, in chatroom cases, there is protection provided in the process because allegations of defamation were used to try to disclose whistleblowers and other....

  Michele Neylon:really badly written law

steve metalitz:Should we kick off on D3?

Michele Neylon:we have 3 minutes left

Mary Wong:Under 2013 RAA "Illegal Activity" is defined as conduct involviing a Registered Name that is "prohibited by law".

Graeme Bunton:I suspect we just hold on d3 for a week

  Kathy:Interesting discussion, all!

  Don Blumenthal:agrree pm D3

  Don Blumenthal:on D3
