ISPs and connectivity providers participate in a number of ICANN working-groups, with a special focus on issues which are more likely to have a direct impact on our organizations. Since our organizations are quite likely to receive the first call for help when there are DNS issues, we tend to focus on questions relating to security, stability and reliability of the DNS. But our organizations also manage IP addresses and thus we also try to coordinate and collaborate with our colleagues in the numbering organizations within ICANN.
