10) Proposed Goals and Outcomes:

During the 5th AfIGF, I will work to outreach of the new participants at the AfIGF by explaining to them the role of ICANN related to the DNS in the internet policy development space. The key role of ICANN within the Internet ecosystem will be shown to them during my various sessions (panel, individual). With the aim to bring them join some ICANN working groups, also with the need to encourage them to form their ALS if their countries are still without an ALS

My following skills proves that I will easily reach the aim mentioned above:

I've been a member of the CRISP team (Number Community response for the IANA Transition).

I'm currently a member of the technical community of the WGEC of the UN Commission on Science and Technology for Development.

I'm also an active member of Afrinic (The African Regional Internet Registries), an active member of ICANN as well.
