    The New Meeting Strategy Working Party was convened the early part of 2015 to help At Large better prepare for the upcoming Meeting Structure to start from ICANN 55 in Marrakech. 

    The initial meetings saw the working party direction as a bit unclear as there was not much information from ICANN itself regarding the meeting structures in particular Meeting B. 
    Drafting team chair Eduardo Diaz took up the challenge of coming up with the first draft for Meeting Schedules A, B and C which was a huge step and headed us in the right direction. 
    A think tank headed by Maureen Hilyard was formed to come up with ideas for outreach. A lot of ideas were submitted by the Think Tank to the Working Party and these were discussed in detail. The idea of also providing in reach within the community was also discussed. It became clear that Meeting B was the one with the most unique schedule. A sub group was created after the announce of Panama as the venue. This sub group was headed by people from the region namely Vanda Scartezini, Dev Anand Teelucksingh , with myself and Sebastien Bachollet as contributors. The sub group went further to develop a draft schedule for Meeting B as well as discussing potential outreach activities. 
    Drawing nearer to the Dublin Meeting, it was clear that outreach would be possible outside rather than initially thought, within the meeting venue. Information from staff also made it clearer how the meetings should be structured. The Working Party convened and came up with draft schedules for Meetings A and C with the draft Meeting B coming from the Meeting B Sub Group for the Panama Meeting. 
    Those drafts have since evolved with face to face discussions in Dublin, a one on one with the Meetings team as well as the sharing of information between ACs and SOs regarding Meeting Schedules. 
    We are now working closely with staff and AFRALO to ensure that the schedule fully reflects the first of these new Meeting Schedules for Meeting A in Marrakech. 
    Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday 19th November 2015.
