DNS Abuse (Threshold)Jonathan ZuckPanel Discussion: Single proposal about DNS Abuse, getting feedback and having a discussion on this
GAC & ALAC MeetingYrjö Länsipuro(28/04) Raised that in preparation for Cancun, there was going to be an ALAC session with the GAC's Public Safety WG to discuss DNS Abuse. We should carry this on and perhaps bring in some other stakeholder groups
DNS Abuse, Covid-19 and End User IssuesJoanna Kulesza

(28/04) Before finalising any particular topics, Joanna would like to have more feedback from the community. For example if discussing DNS Abuse should we include the multistakeholder approach? cooperate with the GAC? incorporate cybersecurity?

(28/04) Dave Kissoondoyal: end-user issue: Can we consider economic ramifications and Inflation, Domain names price increase post COVID resulting to registrants cancelling their domain names thereby affecting end users

Public ForumSebastien Bachollet

(28/04) Seb suggested that we retain a Public Forum so that people can bring up end-user issues that can more properly be addressed by SO-AC Chairs rather than a panel of the Board - especially when the priorities for session might be multistakeholder model; future ICANN Meetings and Covid-19; prioritisation - whose priorities ?

A "townhall session" has been raised as a possibility that people can bring their questions to a panel of experts (might need to be prepared questions to ensure that the responses are relevant to end-users). Other participants may also ask associated questions.

APAC Session

Maureen

Cheryl

(28/04) APAC Hub needs to identify an appropriate topic that relates to the APAC region and to encourage a small panel of APAC experts to discuss and tie in with end-user communities in the APAC region. Include a session that is APAC friendly in topic and timezone.  Chinese translation services could be provided?  Contact Jiarong.
PDP 3.0Holly Raiche(28/04) Background: If you read through the outcomes of the GNSO Review from a few years back, the first recommendations are about wider involvement of the community - with some policy suggestions from the GNSO on what they could do - and they said, in their response, that the recommendations were implemented. The underlying theme would be how does the GNSO continue to support a multi stakeholder model and the recommendations of their own review which they accepted - when PDP3 will narrow the ability of people - ALAC members - to participate. Suggested People attending - GNSO Chair, the chair of the WG on PDP 3, plus you JZ and maybe OCL   Proposed agenda would start with (1) the GNSO recommendations on participation - and their response. (2)Then ask if what they said they would do in response to their review, they have done ,(3) Maybe response from ALAC. (4) Then discussion of PDP3 - maybe ALAC voices - and why that will shut down participation of all but a few ALAC members, Then (5) Discussion on how to ensure we retain a multi stakeholder in light of the ‘efficiencies’ of PDP3
Subsequent ProceduresJonathan ZuckApplicant Support and Community Priority Evaluation - comment raised that raising the applicant support might raise expectation that another round is imminent
