  Tijani BEN JEMAA:Bonjour Michel
  Gisella Gruber:Etienne - on n'arrive pas a te connecter
Gisella Gruber:@ Etienne - on va te rappeler
Gisella Gruber:@ Etienne - ta ligne est en mute car tu as du bruit de fond
  Cheryl Langdon-Orr:26
  Etienne TSHISHIMBI:ok
  Etienne TSHISHIMBI:Ca c'est coupé
  Etienne TSHISHIMBI:@ Gissella
Avri Doria:i am one of those arguing for parity
  Gisella Gruber:Welcome Aziz
  Aziz:Thanks Gisella
Alan Greenberg:I think it is pretty clear that if the SOs have a weight of 5 and the ALAC/GAC 2, the ALAC, as a chartering organization, will not support the recommendation.
  Leon Sanchez:Agree @Alan
  Cheryl Langdon-Orr 2:As do I
Rinalia Abdul Rahim:Should it be confirmed that GAC and ccNSO cannot become incorporated associations, would the proposal go forward?  Is it acceptable that parts of the community have incorporated status and others do not (i.e., possibly unequal rights)?
Cheryl Langdon-Orr 2:May we extend  time for more questions to be delt with if they arise?
Avri Doria: ineed to leave this call for another webinar.  i thought this was just an hour. apologies.
  Cheryl Langdon-Orr 2:it was/is
Cheryl Langdon-Orr 2: and I am already in 2 calls
Avri Doria:sorry you are right, am coming back
Avri Doria:8 hours of calls in a row has me confused today.
  Cheryl Langdon-Orr 2:I understand totally
Leon Sanchez:@Rinalia it is possible, as far as I understand, that some parts are incorporated and others aren't. As it is still a work in progress, I think there's no concrete answer to your question at this moment
  Rinalia Abdul Rahim:OK. Thanks.
Alan Greenberg:@Rinalia, it may vary depending on which AC we are talking about. The GAC may well decide that they do not want or cannot accept "power", just as they do not participate in the NomCom now. So it is not a problem. If the ALAC were to be disenfrachised, I think we would take a dim view on it. With the ccNSO, it THEY cannot participate, we do have a very real problem.
Avri Doria:is there a url for this slide set?
Rinalia Abdul Rahim:@Alan, in the event that ccnso cannot do it.  What then?
Gisella Gruber:@ Avri - slides are on the meeting page:
Cheryl Langdon-Orr 2:become a Member  under that model Rinalia
Cheryl Langdon-Orr 2:this was rejected as a possbility when originally discussed  when the ccNSO  was formed, it may be again now  abit the designator model would I beleive work...
Avri Doria:the is the point of quora for a vote.
Cheryl Langdon-Orr 2:We are getting Legal Council on this matter of course Alan  re votes abstentions  etc.,
  Rinalia Abdul Rahim:Thanks, Cheryl.
Cheryl Langdon-Orr 2:noting we are effectivly a 'designator model now
Alan Greenberg:Regarding the ccNSO not being able to be a
Leon Sanchez:Processes are still being looked into.
Alan Greenberg:member, we either would need to go to a designator model or a mixed one. BUt the real problem is that even in a designator model (as we are in today), to beable to ENFORCE powers, you need to be a legal entity.
Alan Greenberg:But we accept powers today without ability to enforce, and perhaps we need to accept that (in part) in the future.
Alan Greenberg:As Leon said Membership is view as best. for guarateed powers, but factoring in ALL factors, it may not be the choice.
Yasuichi Kitamura:I will reconnect this wi-if
Sébastien:It is not what I says. Seems that interpretation was not accurate.
  Sébastien:I all for diversity
Alan Greenberg:Or my understanding is not accurate.
Alan Greenberg:Other than decisions to limit our power compared to others, I think that it is a wash.
Olivier Crepin-Leblond:@Alan: so you think the whole process is going in the right direction?
  Yasuichi Kitamura:back :)
Rinalia Abdul Rahim:@Tijani - that is rather disturbing that the report doesn't reflect the view of the whole group.
Avri Doria:The CWG model is now proposed.
Avri Doria:and the communication between the two groups has been continuous
Alan Greenberg:@olivier. Overalll, yes. But the decision points I outlined (weighting) organization model, board removal decisions) are crutial.
Cheryl Langdon-Orr 2:I beleive  where there is divergence of views  those views have been presented within doc as options...
Cheryl Langdon-Orr 2:we have NOT delayed our doc oublishing progress  to ensure full coinsensus  though
Cheryl Langdon-Orr 2:YEs  Alan time for the WODER cimmunity to weigh in on thinghs
Cheryl Langdon-Orr 2:WIDER   community  to weigh in on things  *sigh*
Alan Greenberg:Problem with asking questions is that sometimes people answer!  ;-)
  Olivier Crepin-Leblond::-)
Rinalia Abdul Rahim:When would the CCWG ike to brief the Board, Leon?
Cheryl Langdon-Orr 2:Add those ST  contributions  to the ST-WP  Wiki page please   no need to include in the PC replies
Rinalia Abdul Rahim:I look forward to the May briefing. :) Thanks.
  Leon Sanchez:MAY 4
Alan Greenberg:May 4th is a bit more than 48 hours in my dimension!
Heidi Ullrich:Thanks to all the presenters!
Alberto Soto:Thanks! Excellent webinar. I hope in Buenos Aires. Bring your coats ....
