  1. As followup to the email dated  March 10th regarding the switch in the name to ALAC Subcommittee on Outreach and Engagement

As it stated in the email two things  were address

    1. Reconstitute its membership
    2. Creation of a new mission

It's important to get the feedback from actual  participants in the CROPP funding short  trips to targeted events.   In lieu of this new focus.  Evan and I attended the first NARALO  CROPP trips at NTEN ( Non Profit  Technology Conference in Austin) which included two  ICANN staffers.   The  strong  onus was engaging the media and the various attendees  including PIR ( owners of .ORG and .NGO),  on the scope and purpose of  NARALO, ALAC  and ICANN ( not always in this order)

The  work last year was targetted to recruitment of new  ALS's  especially in underrepresented areas in North American and American territories.    This year was very different and the future funded attendees  for CROPP  need to grasp the different approach  ie.  seminars, BOF,  interviews,  attending parties,  vendor  booth discussions.   This year  made it very easy to discuss the Net Neutrality issues, privacy and other issues since the general population is becoming more aware.

The  new metrics for these type of  engagement needs to be revisited and discussed
