  1. Owing to the fact that a lot of work in ICANN is premised on policy development, asides ALAC desiring to grow its base, i would suggest that potential ALS members should be our target. Prior to the meeting kicking off, we may select or invite a number of potential ALS leaders and take them through a guided tour of the At-Large structure. Brief them on how they too can contribute to the development of policy as end users, while they on another hand could be encouraged to join the rest of the meeting. For a prize, they could also be encouraged to blog about their experience after the outreach.

The bus could be used to convey them to the venue of the ICANN meeting, or convey the outreach team to a pre-arranged venue where they would meet with the potential ALS members.

  2. Option 1 is better. Ease of moving to orientate and getting them to see first hand activities of ICANN at work.
