Jean-Jacques Subrenat:@Ombudsman: 1) while exchange of information is necessary between Ombudsman and Complaints Officer (who reports to General Counsel), we need to make sure that Ombudsman DOES NOT DEPEND on Staff for his sources of information. 2) Ombudsman gets a budget from Board, so is somewhat independent, but for instance his salary level is decided by Board, and more particularly BGC. This should be changed, so that his independence is enhanced. 3) Choice of Ombudsman should not be left to BGC, but by a multi-stakeholder group, something like NomCom. 4) Ombudsman's report should be published for comment, say once a year.
