Capacity Building

The program is going well. Capacity building is actually part of the Fellows

/Newcomers Track meetings, and also includes the session in the General Assembly on APRALO/ALAC processes and procedures. The meeting noted that the first half hour of the morning sessions will be more informal so that the Chinese ALS members have an additional half hour to arrive at the venue

General Assembly

One item for the agenda will be an overview of the RoP/APRALO processes –“Regional Involvement and Overview’– to be given by CLO.

·      Holly to put suggested agenda in workspace, including time slot for CLO session

Multi-stakeholder meeting - To be held Monday 1700-1900

Considerable progress has been made on both topics (new gTLDs and IDNs) Most of the speakers have been confirmed. The possibility of moving this session was raised. It was observed that if the time is moved, considerable work will have to be done to inform speakers and, if some invited speakers cannot participate in another time slot, other speakers will have to be invited and confirmed.
