Heidi Ullrich:This agenda from yesterday's call of the At-Large Ad-hoc WG on the Transition of US Government Stewardship of the IANA Function provides a lot of useful documents: https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/At-Large+Ad-hoc+WG+on+the+Transition+of+US+Government+Stewardship+of+the+IANA+Function+2014-11-04

Heidi Ullrich:@Barrack, if I may, how best should Africans provide the input you are suggesting? At-Large staff are ready to assist!

Barrack Otieno:the Naming community has adopted an approach of using surveys

Barrack Otieno:i am not sure if this can work with us

Barrack Otieno:we can encourage the ALSs to circulate the suryveys among their membership

Barrack Otieno:to get a feel of what the community wants

Barrack Otieno:we could try and draft this survey as soon as possibble through a working group

  Barrack Otieno:just a proposal

Heidi Ullrich:@Barrack and Aziz, please let staff know how we may assist!

Fatimata:I think it would be very helpful to have step by step presentation explaining the consequences on the DN management,  Remember, this is an end user community

  Aziz:Barrack +1

  Heidi Ullrich:for AFRALO, Fatimata?

Heidi Ullrich:Should we set up a webinar?

  Fatimata:Yes please

Heidi Ullrich:and then we can ask everyone on the call to complete the survey? Would this be ok?

  Barrack Otieno:yes

  iTRealms -Remmy Nweke:@Fatimata is right

Fatimata:Yes, even though , I know there are plenty of webinars on the issue

Barrack Otieno:We can have this as an action item

Seun Ojedeji:@Barrack just to mention that there are also a set of questions that the numbers community have sent out in form of survey

  Barrack Otieno:For the Task Force

Seun Ojedeji:so yes maybe we should have a webinar to update ourselves/ALes on all these
